Use DropBox
If you do not have a DropBox account, click on this link to get an invitation to set up your account. When you use the invite we both get extra space for free. If you already have a DropBox account, I will need to set up a Shared folder.
DropBox is a free service with the first 2GB free. If your database is over 2GB, you will need to get a paid Dropbox account. The cost is $9.99 for one month.
How to find the size of your database
Dropbox is the easiest way to store, sync, and, share files online. Available for Windows, OS X, and Linux.

- You will receive an email from DropBox with a link to set up your DropBox account.
- After you setup your account, you need to accept the invitation to a shared folder that I will create so we can share files privately. The folder will be named SharedYourName.
- Drag your Main Identity folder to the SharedYourName folder. It will automatically upload. (The upload time is determined by how busy the DropBox servers are.
Download and install the DropBox client.
Drag the DropBox application to your Applications folder. Double click to open.
You can access via an icon in the Menu bar ![]()

or from the Sidebar.

DropBox installs these Default folders:

You will be able to see the Shared Folder I created for you after you accept the invite to the Shared Folder. No one else will be able to access this folder without an invite.

If you have Growl installed, you will get a Growl notification from DropBox:

Simply dropping files into the folder should upload, but you can also use the web interface to upload files. This only works for small files.
